The Southern Cross Gruppe (SCG) is a complete On line fighting orginisation. It has dedicated Fighter (SC/JG) and Bomber divisions SC/KG. The SCG is Australian based and flys Axis aircraft (predominately Luftwaffe).
The SCG is a Full switch Gruppe flying on the hardest difficulty settings. SCG operation is in accordance with its own SOPS and Tactics manual, which serve as standardization documents for the entire Gruppe. The SCG regards Historical accuracy important, and this is a feature of our operation.
The SCG’s founder units (II/JG4,IV/JG1 and KG66) were all experienced individual On line Squads. The 3 units initially agreed to co-operate with each other. This cooperation was so successful a decision was taken to formally amalgamate into a single Gruppe with a uniform command structure.
